Yo everybody!  Welcome to my new blog!  Shiny and out of the box.  It's got that fresh blog smell.  Who knows just what I might write about!  There's really no telling.  It might be the weather, it might be sports, it might be something crazy.  Nobody knows.

Today I'll start with sports.  I'm extremely disappointed with the Tigers right now.  How could they have slipped so far?  Just a couple months ago I thought they were a lock for the playoffs.  Now I'm afraid they won't be making it in at all.  What the heck happened?  Our pitching has gone to crap.  We used to have such a deadly lineup.  Now we're struggling to keep the score under 6 or 7.  Our hitting has been ok still, but our pitching hasn't been holding their end of the bargain.  And then, on the off days that our pitching does come through, our hitting falls short.  What the heck?!

The Lions on the other hand, intrigue me.  They're looking much better than I expected.  I'm still not hopefully for a great year or anything, but they do look improved.  I guess that's not saying too much, considering they only won a couple games last year.  Or was it 3...I forget.  Either way, not anything to brag about.

That's enough sports talk for today.  We'll see what tomorrow may bring.  Another Lions preseason game.  Perhaps my tune will change.
